Seniors

Today I am thankful for our senior girls at Western.

First Hannah Boyt bought me Subway for lunch because she doesn't have a 7th hour. Very nice and thoughtful of her. She also worked the clock for our first two games tonight. She's an outstanding clock worker! I appreciate that I can count on her to run the table efficiently.

Second Julia Zoski helped work the basketball games too. She started with admission and then got dragged into the concession stand. She helped Mr. Porter get it started. Then she helped me work it for at least 45 minutes. She even said, "by the time I graduate, I'll be a concession stand pro!" Ha. She was helpful and willing to help. Very appreciated.

Then our senior girls had senior night. This is always a sad night for me. I appreciate our senior girls. I've worked with these girls since they were in middle school. It's so bittersweet to see them finish their senior year of basketball. They are wonderful student athletes. I enjoyed lunches with them over the years too. A few of them even mentioned me in their senior bios tonight. Tearful... I enjoy each of them. I am excited for their future as young women in the college world. :) They have surely grown since middle school.

Tonight I am thankful for many of our senior girls at Western! What a great class of girls.
