I've been swimming since I can remember. My mom even said today that I was swimming under water without swimmies since I was a little over Paige's age (14 months). We lived in Florida when I was younger. I remember spending hours at the pool with my mom and sisters and best friend Kim! We loved to swim. My skin didn't burn so that wasn't an issue. It was how my mom entertained us cheaply and probably kept her sanity.
I remember our apartment complex with the big pool. Tara was a baby then. Then we had a house and we got an above ground pool. Our neighbors had an in ground pool with a hot tub and there was a huge community pool across the street with diving boards. When my dad had a Saturday off, we'd head to Ft. Lauderdale Beach for the day! Those were my favorite days!
My life has been surrounded by water. It's my happy time! Today I took my nephews to the water park and then Josh and I took our boat out with my dad on the lake.
A double water day! Today I am thankful for a water day!
