Today was day one of softball 2012! Today is a day I had been waiting for since June 4th, 2011! Today, was exciting for me, our coaches, and 29 high school girls!
Our tryouts tonight went well. I would honestly say, it was not the hardest tryout I'd ever run, but it went really smooth. Not including our coaching staff, three alumni came back to help run the skills test too! I love having alumni back to help. The high school girls worked very hard tonight. The retuning 10 varsity members did an exceptional job helping and leading. They are really a good group. I'm excited for day two!
Tonight I am thankful that softball season has started!
I have decided to continue my thankful blog in 2014. I'm going to gear it more toward being pregnant and steps to becoming a well rounded parent.
