Today, my 8th grade girls basketball team took second place in our end of season tournament. We couldn't beat our nemesis the Northwest Mounties.
My girls played a very hard two games on a full high school court. They didn't give up. They worked as hard as they couldn't get the win. We also lost our number one point guard during the 2nd quarter.
I'm very thankful for my opportunity to coach such a great bunch of girls.
Pregnancy: Feeling good. Feeling guilty. I have such sadness surrounding me that I can't even think about having a baby too. A friend lost her son at 17 months on Thursday too. Between a funeral and chemo and coaching and working, the world is spinning. Baby Bassett needs to bake a little longer until I get time to organized.
I have decided to continue my thankful blog in 2014. I'm going to gear it more toward being pregnant and steps to becoming a well rounded parent.
