Today was an eventful day centered around the word Christmas.
Lex and Tori came over in the morning to help decorate our tree and house. We sang some tunes and chatted. Love those two girls.
Then Josh and I headed over to my grandmas to visit during her recovery AND to hang her outside Christmas lights! It was awesome that Aunt Kathy and Unlce John were there too. It was nice to sit and talk with them for a while today. They are wonderful people. Wish they lived closer!
Also, today was my annual shopping with dad trip. It was supposed to be in Ann Arbor, but somehow I got suckered into driving to Westland for the evening. :)
The one thing I really like about the Westland Mall is the decorations. They are great. It REALY feels like Christmas time.
We got a lot of good deals. I saved more than I spent at Kohls so did dad. Wahoo! I'm glad my dad got some gifts purchased. I was really hoping the massage company was in the middle of the mall so we could get our massages, but they unfortunately were not there. Sad... We settled for a $1.00 chair and the free ones at Kohls. Ha. It's slightly frustrating, but always adventurous to shop with my dad.
I'm thankful we get a night to Christmas shop together.
I'm thankful that it finally feels like Christmas at our house. I loved today! :)
PS... My phone died in the evening so that's why the texts from Josh. Also, I DO listen to Justin Bieber's Christmas CD. :)
