Helpful Husband

Thursday 

It's been four days since I've given birth to our wonderful daughter Addison. It has been an uncomfortable four days, but totally worth it!

I'm pretty sure I couldn't do this without the help and support of my awesome husband Josh. He's been awesome! Throughout labor, he was there lifting my shoulders up and helping me breath through the pain. He was just as nervous as myself, but never left my side. 

He got us meals and the extra clothes we needed for the extra days at the hospital. He helped me change diapers and outfits on our baby. He helped me sit up and sit back down during painful times. He was outstanding. 

Since we've been home, he hasn't complained once but has accepted a lack of sleep and extra little to do's. He's grocery shopped, made dinners, cleaned the floors, changed diapers, and helped me get around the house. He's been great.  

I know I am very fortunate to have such a helpful husband. I realize not everyone is as fortunate as myself.  I have the best husband. I'm very thankful!
