Bus Talk

Tonight I was very upset after our games. I felt we for screwed by the umpires. I normally don't say that, but tonight, I believe it. Ugh. A few really bad calls. We should have gotten a few our way. Ugh!

However, our team had a great talk in the bus. Seniors are beating themselves up. They keep working, but we can't get a ton of success. Frustrating. It would be easy for them to just straight up quit. I thought we could have a few go down today. However, as we talked, I watched their eyes get wide, their hearts opened up and they came alive again! The fire came back. They complimented each other. They praised each other. They brought each other back. They still wanted to fight. Fight for a Jackson high win. Fight for a Diamond Classic win. Fight for a District Title!

I'm happy we had a great team talk on the bus. I still love my team.  I'm thankful for their commitment to Western Softball.
