Good Times

About five years ago, I was motivated to start running even though I was so S L O W. My best friend Jenna wanted me to run the 3.34 mile block with her. I had never run this far before. Knowing her long legs would allow her to run way faster than me, I accepted the challenge anyway. We ran the block on a Friday afternoon and of course, she beat me. I was just proud I finished! :)

Soon after that Jenna and I ran the block a few more times. Then she began to run further and I started to rollerblade with her. This allowed me to keep up. We began this tradition and it continued as Jenna would spend the weekends with us. Afterwards, we make a trip to Target, Kohls, and Panera. I loved those Saturdays chatting and exercising with my good friend!

Today, Jenna made an early morning drive to Spring Arbor. She wanted to run as I bladed with her. No headphones, we just talked. Felt bad for her (but she is in great shape) as she talked and ran and I talked and rollerblades. Hehe. It was fun to continue our fun tradition!!

I did a millions other things today too while watching Paige too. Josh was nice enough to watch her while so Jenna and I could run/blade the block.

Today, I was thankful for my trip around the block with my good friend Jenna!!
