A Visit with the Nephews!

Today I got to visit with my nephews! Trisha let Wyatt call me and ask me to swim. I went out there and visited for a couple hours. We swam and played some games. I was so excited to see my nephews today. It's been so long since I hung out with them. I'm thankful for my couple hours with the boys. 

Ann Arbor

Tonight I'm thankful that I made the trip with Kathy to Ann Arbor to meet Jenna. We shopped and ate dinner. I'm glad we are all enjoying ours summer. It's nice to just sit and chat. I love summer!

Sunday

I'm thankful for Sunday. 

Josh had things to do. 

I ran. I mowed and weed whipped the lawn. I did laundry. I watched some softball. I read a book. I took a nap. I coached softball. 

I'm thankful for my Sunday. :)

Trip to Cadillac

We took a short trip to Cadillac this weekend. When Josh and I were dating, we loved spending a weekend up north with his family. It was fun to get away, relax, and enjoy some time with the Bassett's. Today, we did just that. Erin and I roller bladed around Lake Cadillac as Josh and his dad metal detected. We were treated to lunch by Josh's parents, Rhonda and Roger. Then we spent the afternoon shopping with Rhonda in town. It was a fun, but short trip. Dinner on Adam and Erin's back patio was relaxing tonight too. I am thankful that Adam and Erin welcome us to their home anytime we can make it up north. We really were glad to visit Cadillac on such a nice day too. It was beautiful around the lake. Loved it n

I'm thankful we got to visit Josh's family this weekend. I'm thankful we all get along and enjoyed a day together. :)

Josh

Today Josh helped me stain my grandmas deck. It was a huge project that took us a long time. Josh luckily had the day off and volunteered to help me. It was very nice of him! Josh is awesome!  It would have take me all day to finish it alone. I'm thankful for his help!

Independence Day

Today we enjoyed the Fourth of July with our Fourth of July tradition. We were on the lake with the family. It was actually a nice day. Sunny, warm, kinda cloudy. The lake was busy, but it didn't matter. It was time to enjoy some sun time. We had fun on the lake. I just wish Trisha and Nick would come and bring the boys too. We all miss them very much. Sad. Sad. Sad. 

I'm thankful the rest of our family still gets along and enjoys hanging out with each other. 

Lake

I love the lake almost as much as I love sun shine. I really love going on the boat when it's nice outside. Tara had the idea and my mom and I decided to go. The sun was out and we enjoyed some lake time. :)

I'm thankful for a day at the lake.
