Birthday's

I really like birthdays. I really enjoy celebrating someone's birthday! Birthdays are important. I've always enjoyed them. I feel compelled to wish someone a happy birthday. It's their day. I can't really explain it. I just like them.

Today we celebrated my step dad Larry's and my sister Tara's and my brother in law Nick's. Today is not their actual birthday, but it was a good time for all of us to get together and celebrate.

I love celebrating birthdays! I'm thankful my family enjoys them as much as I do too. :) More pictures to come!

One Fun-filled Day

Today was awesome. Not only was the weather 55 degrees, but it was filled with lots fun events with family and friends.

I ran outside with my friend Julie on her Birthday. I got a diet Pepsi from Panera!

My sisters and their husbands took the kids to the circus. We were a little nervous, but everyone loved it. The kids were great too. They had an awesome time. Grandpa Bob came to dinner with us too. It was a fun day with our family.

Then we got to close out the night by celebrating Julie and Owen's birthdays with the Oliver family. Very fun day!

I'm thankful for our family and friends and the fun activities we get to do with them.

10 Dollar Date Night

Tonight we we enjoyed a cheap date. We got into the basketball game for free thanks to a coach's pass. Then we decided to go to Subway for dinner at 930pm. The lady was so backed up and busy by herself and didn't have what Josh wanted, she gave us a huge discount!!! We got two foot longs for only seven bucks!! Yea baby!

Also!!! I love warm weather. It's awesome. After work, 57 degrees! Had to run outside, in SHORTS!! I love warm weather even if its just for a day!

Today I am that I got to run outside and we got to have a cheap date tonight!

Busy

I am thankful for busy days. Today was a busy office day. Between athletics and facilities, it was a bit crazy.

However, at one point, I looked at my watch and it said noon. I was happy it was already lunch time. The next time I looked, the bell was ringing! Wahoo! :) Gym set up was quick and easy. When I left, I was thankful for my busy day

Important People

We rarely get the mail at our house. However, tonight, I am glad we did. Inside was a thank you card from my awesome grandma!! She said thank you for the Christmas gifts and for some random things Josh and I helped helped her with. She's such a nice grandma!

Also, I heard from Alexis tonight as she are in a restaurant in the Dominican. Boy do we miss her! She said she's a little home sick, but enjoying her trip. It was great to hear from her tonight too!

Earlier in the evening, I wasn't feeling much like working out, but Julie pushed me to go run with her. We completed 5 miles in the cold and windy weather! I'm not a big cold running fan, but I was thankful we made each other run today. Sure felt good afterwards. Thank you Julie!

Decisions

Guilt eats me on nights like tonight. As we are dinner, I began to tell myself the following:

"You should go to the girls varsity basketball game a support your softball players. They have a good chance of winning. Go support them."

"You could go watch the boys at the hs. You could chat with some people in the community and just watch. Or you could help clean up. It might be a good game."

All these thought and more ran through my head. I couldn't handle it. So you know what I did?! I STAYED HOME! josh and I watched some TV and basically did nothing. Ha!!

I'm thankful my friends kept me up to date on the games and that my voice inside my head finally relaxed and let me enjoy a night at home. :)
