Let's Go Tigers!

Tonight I got to go with my mom to the Tigers game. Season tickets in row 137 baby! Third base line, could see every batter. Best part was we beat the Yankees and Granderson popped up to end the game! Jeter sucks and went 1 for 4! Yeah baby! I made a small purchase for myself too. We ate some popcorn and peanuts! The crowd around us was a hoot! Real baseball, I mean, Tigers fans! They knew stats and ERAs! It was a fun night at Comerica Park!

Technology

Today, my computer at work did not work well. Then my files were all erased. Then I couldn't print. It went on and on. I was frustrated that my technology didn't work until 1:30pm!! Wonderful start to the week.

However I realized how thankful I was for technology and our tech guy Matt! He was awesome today! He got to my computer to fix it by 9am. He called me within 10 minutes of putting in a help desk ticket. He really cared that I was able to get working with all my files and special programs as soon as possible. His job is not a fun one, but he was patience and quick. I appreciate the job he does. I would not want his job.

Today I am thankful for technology and our tech guy Matt Graetz.

Last Day of Summer

Today sadly, was my last day of summer vacation. Boo, sad, tears!

I spent it doing things I love (except grocery shopping) and with people I enjoy!!

1. Picked up Paige at 10am! Love this kid. Today she was in a very good mood.

2. Breakfast at Panera with Josh.

3. Lunch in Dexter with my friend Jenna and her mother Kathy and Paige at Panera of course.

4. Had dinner with Josh as we enjoyed time with Paige and watched the Tigers win in the bottom of the 10th!! Sweet!

5. Had a quick meeting with my returning softball players tonight at Cascades. We had ice cream of course! :)

Wouldn't want to end my summer any other way! I'm thankful for today! And Josh CLEANED the house and did laundry today! Wahoo!! :)

Fun Filled Saturday

It was nice to see a lot of support for Western Athletics today! Lots of families, friends, and alumni came out to the WABC Golf Outing today. It was a fun filled day.

Some people are very generous and supportive. They go above and beyond giving up their day and time to support Western Athletics.

Today I am thankful for the golf outing going so well and the people who graciously give up time to support athletics.

Dinner Guest

Tonight we had a surprise visitor! Alexis has spent the whole summer in the bay area. Tonight she came home to visit with her family, but stopped here first.

We were going to dinner so Alexis joined us in the Applesbee's neighborhood. It was great to catch up with her too. We have grown to consider Alexis as one of our family members. I've known her since 7th grade and have watched her mature through her school years. We just love her!!

Tonight it was great to spend our dinner with Alexis Lee!

I scream, you scream....

Tonight after a long day, I am thankful for my evening with Josh. We got some ice cream at Frosty Boy to end our long day. :)

Pool Time

Today I am thankful for my 30 minutes in my neighbors pool. I hadn't been swimming or in the pool for a while now. Today after some CPR training, I came home and treated myself to some pool time! The neighbors are so nice. They don't care that I floated around and read on my Kindle for some peace and quite time. :)
